Perhaps one of THE most important parts of my wedding was having it captured on film.
Photos are amazing, they’re a moment frozen in time, forever. But I couldn’t stop with just frameable memories of Chris and I’s walk into forever.
I wanted to be able to look back and see those epic life moments unfold, blinking, breathing, with flushed cheeks, hearts pounding, and breath in our lungs.
So I scoured the internet for videographers and chose a husband and wife team, The Film Poets, that have the most magical way of storytelling.
They themselves are true lovebirds, and that’s exactly who I wanted telling my love story.
A lot of people will tell you to save money (God knows weddings are expensive) and skip the videographer. While it stretched our budget big time, my goodness the flood of emotions I experience every time I watch this film are worth their weight in gold.
Someday we’ll look back on this film and smile at how young we were, cry and remember the loved ones that graced our wedding day but no longer this earth, and continue to know the story of when we walked into forever.
While this film feels deeply personal, even vulnerable, I want to share it with you.
